Privacy Policy

FreePlayBase is built so you can play without creating an account. We do not ask for your name, email, or password to open a board. This page explains what stays on your device, what may leave it when you use online rooms or send us mail, and how advertising and analytics (if any) work.
Accounts
There are none. No sign-up, no password vault, no cloud profile of your games. Installing the site as a Progressive Web App still points at this same origin; it does not create a hidden user database.
What stays on your device
- Theme, language, sound, and difficulty preferences for this origin
- Win/loss or score tallies and in-progress local game state where a title saves them
- Host markers and display names used for online friend rooms in this browser
- PWA install dismissal state if you hide the install control
Clear site data, use a private window, or switch browsers, and those values start fresh. We cannot restore a board or high score that has already been wiped on your side.
Online friend rooms
When you create or join a friend room, your browser opens a live connection so both players see the same board, moves, and optional room chat. Room state exists for the active session so the game can sync; it is not a permanent account history. Display names you choose in a room are shown to the other player in that room. When everyone leaves and the room ends, it is not kept as a long-term personal archive.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-0DZCKYSVT6) for aggregate traffic such as pages viewed, approximate region, device type, browser, and referral source. It is not a replay of your moves and is not tied to an account. You can still play with analytics blocked.

Advertising
Display ads are not enabled today. Layout slots may appear empty. If that changes, this page will be updated. Ads are not meant to sit on top of the playable board or interrupt a move.
What may leave the device
- Email you send us voluntarily (URL, screenshots, description of a bug)
- Live room traffic needed to sync a friend game while the room is open
- Aggregate Google Analytics 4 traffic data — not board positions or local high scores
- Normal host and security logs (IP, user agent, path, timestamp) for abuse prevention — not used to rebuild your offline boards
If you write to contact@freeplaybase.com, we use that message to reply, investigate, or fix what you reported. We do not treat it as a marketing list.
Children
The site is a casual game collection. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data by email, contact us and we will delete that message.
Changes
If storage, rooms, analytics, or ads change in a way that materially affects how the site behaves, we update this page. Also see terms and contact.
